Technology is always developing, in all aspects, the role of technology is important. But the advancement of technology sometimes will bring bad effect to the environment. Global warming is the latest issue we face. Many aspects that are contrary with the issue are countered.

Automotive industry is one of them. Automotive industry has brought most pollution to the air, not just because of the manufacturing plant that is used to build the car, but also the car itself. The cars and motorcycle is the biggest pollution maker. Regarding to the global warming, many automotive producers are doing research to improve their products so that they will comply the government regulation about the carbon monoxide limitation.

Hybrid cars are one of them. Hybrid means that the cars have two types of engine, common gasoline or diesel engine and electric motor. For car that usually have big engine like SUV, having hybrid engine will absolutely decrease the pollution. Hybrid SUV has the same mechanism with the other hybrid cars, they still have two types of engine. The gasoline engine will works when you drive the car in high speed, but when you do a city drive, the electrical motor will move your vehicle.
